It happened around 2:45 Friday afternoon on the 600 block of Division Street.
Nine students were onboard the bus at the time - all from Notre Dame High School in Lawrence Township.
Initial reports indicate that the driver of a car ran a stop sign causing the bus to veer off course, hitting at least one parked car.
The impact of the crash also sent the bus into the front of a vacant building nearby.
One student complained of shoulder pain but all nine were taken to St. Francis Hospital for minor injuries and evaluation.
The driver who ran the stop sign reportedly fled the scene on foot. Police remain on the scene investigating and searching for the driver.
