" He never got into any trouble, he was always there for his family," said Juanita Thompson, the victim's aunt.
His sister dearly misses him as well.
"I miss his laugh, his smile, and him teasing me all the time," said Brittany Wallace.
On March 30, 2011, 21-year-old Lamont was walking home from work. Police say he was approached by two men who asked him for 20 dollars. Wallace told them no.
While walking on the 800 block of Marvine Street he noticed he was being followed by the men so Wallace called a friend on his cell phone.
The friend heard the entire ordeal as Wallace was shot and killed just a few feet away from his home in Spring Garden.
It's over a year later and the killer or killers responsible are still on the loose.
"He's just out there to kill, he has no remorse for anything and he needs to be where he belongs – in prison," said Thompson.
