New Castle police arrest 2 teen burglary suspects

HOCKESSIN, Del. - May 8, 2012

Police say 18-year-old Daniel Santucci and a 14-year-old accomplice are charged with second-degree burglary, felony theft and a conspiracy charge.

Authorities say a robbery was reported last week in the 400 block of Harrison Drive in Hockessin. Detectives later searched Santucci's home and say they recovered property from the home on Harrison Drive. Police say detectives also recovered property from the same home after searching the residence of the 14-year-old.

Police say the two are also connected to an earlier attempted robbery in the same community.

Santucci has been arraigned and is being held on $5,000 secured bond, while the 14-year-old has been released on $5,000 unsecured bond.
