The accident occurred shortly after 7:45 p.m. on the 9200 block of Annapolis Road in Northeast Philadelphia.
Police say the girl was riding her scooter in the street near the base of a driveway. She then ran out into traffic and was struck by the motorcycle.
Medics responded and rushed the girl to Aria Hospital Torresdale Division. The child was later transferred to Saint Christopher's Hospital where she remains in critical condition with severe head and body injuries.
Police say the motorcyclist remained at the scene. The investigation is on-going, however there are no charges at this time.
