2 arrested for Frankford movie set murder

PHILADELPHIA - May 11, 2012

20-year-old Andre Logan of the 4300 block of Tackawanna Street turned himself into police on Wednesday. The second suspect, 16-year-old Michael Dingle of the 2000 block of N 22nd Street, was arrested on the 5900 block of West Walton Street on Thursday. Both are being charged with Murder, Violation of the Uniform Firearms Act and related offenses.

The shooting occurred around 4:00 p.m. Monday along the 1900 block of Kinsey Street in Philadelphia's Frankford section.

Police say Robert Sneed had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was rushed by medics to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead an hour later.

Investigators believe the motive for the shooting to be an argument.

As authorities were wrapping up the crime scene, the crew of the movie "Dead Man Down" began to arrive to shoot scenes on that same block. The movie shoot went on as planned.

"Dead Man Down," a mob movie starring Colin Farrell and Terrence Howard, had been shooting scenes in Center City for the past week.
