Mr. Food: Pulled Brisket Sliders

Makes: 12 sliders

Preparation Time: 5 min

Cooking Time: 3 hr 30 min

Ingredients:

  • 1 (4-pound) fresh beef brisket
  • 2 (10-1/2-ounce) cans onion soup
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 12 slider rolls

    Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a large roasting pan with cooking spray.

    2. Place brisket in pan, then pour onion soup over brisket. Top with onions.

    3. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake 3-1/2 to 4 hours, or until meat is fork-tender.

    4. Place brisket on a cutting board and shred with 2 forks. Return to pan; mix well. Serve on slider rolls.

    Ingredients:
    1/3 cup seasoned rice vinegar, roasted garlic flavor
    2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    1 (1-pound) bag coleslaw mix (about 4 cups)

    Instructions:
    1. In a small bowl, combine rice vinegar, mustard, and black pepper; whisk well until thoroughly mixed.

    2. Place coleslaw mix in a large bowl and toss with vinegar mixture until evenly coated. Serve immediately or keep covered in the refrigerator.
