And those are just a few of the more than two-thousand household items for sale at this weekend's New 2 You Home Treasures consignment sale at the Lower Providence Volunteer Fire Company in Eagleville, Pa.
"We like the idea of re-selling and up-selling so that things are re-purposed and re-used," explains sale organizer Dona Pendleton. "And people can pick up great bargains."
And there's more to the sale than just bargains. Since Pendleton is an interior designer, she's added design ideas to the displays.
She and business partner, Anna Chamarro, who has run consignment sales for years, have arranged the sales floor by room and by theme, to give shoppers decorating ideas.
In the kid's corner, you'll find deals like a truck comforter for $25 and a set of Thomas the Train prints for $5 each.
Pendleton adds, "We also have items arranged by type of product, around a theme, we have Coastal, for instance, an outdoor area with all kinds of pots and plants and things."
The sale opens to the public at 6:00 p.m. and runs through 10:00 p.m. today (May 16, 2012). Tomorrow, doors open again at 8:30 a.m. and at 5:00 p.m., prices on just about anything that's left will be slashed another 50%.
