The shooting happened around 12:16 a.m. Friday on the 1700 block of N Bambrey Street.
The 19-year-old victim was shot in the chest and legs.
Two men wearing hoodies were seen fleeing the scene on foot.
Police say a bag of marijuana was found nearby along with a number of marijuana cigarettes, however it is not known if the shooting was drug related.
The investigation continues.
