It happened in the early morning hours of May 3. Authorities say the suspect was caught on surveillance video breaking into Ray's Appliance and Mattress store on the 5600 block of Germantown Avenue.
The suspect allegedly broke the security gate lock and the glass in the front of the store to get inside.
Police say he took $2,600 from the register and fled the scene.
The unknown male is described as a black male 40-50 years of age, 5'8"-5'9" with a medium build, a scruffy beard and mustache.
