Police say the 15-year-old boy rode his bicycle on Saturday morning to the Dollar Tree store in the Beaver Brook Plaza Shopping Center in New Castle. Police say the boy eventually saw a man grab his bike that he had left outside the store and ride away. The boy was able to chase down the person on his bike and push him off it, but police say a second man - identified as 18-year-old Shawn Williams - grabbed the boy from behind, assaulted him and rode off on the bike.
Charges against Williams include second-degree robbery and third-degree assault. Police on Sunday were still searching for the person who initially took the bicycle.
