It happened around 9:00 Sunday evening in the parking lot of the Bensalem Police Department.
When fire crews arrived, they found one of the vehicles fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were informed that there was ammunition inside the vehicle which caused them to proceed with caution.
The fire was brought under control but the police car and another vehicle nearby were completely destroyed.
No injuries were reported.
The fire is being considered suspicious and an investigation continues.
