Chester Police: 3 people shot in 1 hour

CHESTER, Pa. - June 2, 2012

Details are still coming in on the violent afternoon in Chester.

The gunfire began around 2:00 Saturday afternoon.

Action News has learned that one of the three shooting victims was a 13 year old boy who was struck in the arm by a stray bullet.

The teen was able to walk from nearby Rose Street to Crozer Chester Medical Center for treatment. He was released sometime later.

In an unrelated shooting in the 1100 block of Culhane Street, two people were critically injured; one of them was still in surgery late Saturday afternoon.

Police are investigating the circumstanced surrounding the shootings. They have not released the names of the victims.
