The News-Journal of Wilmington (http://delonline.us/KGuroA) reports that Biden's wife Jill Biden says her daughter's wedding is taking place Saturday at St. Joseph on the Brandywine. That's the same church where her daughter was baptized. A reception will follow at the Biden home in Greenville.
Ashley Biden, a social worker, is marrying Howard Krein, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Philadelphia. Jill Biden says that her son Beau Biden, Delaware's Attorney General, introduced the bride and groom in late 2010.
Jill Biden told the paper that the wedding will be a joint Jewish-Catholic ceremony and that the couple has invited 200 guests. She says President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will not be among the guests.
