4 passengers removed, rebooked from DC flight

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - June 8, 2012

Flight 3290 to Detroit Friday afternoon was aboard a Pinnacle Airlines regional jet. FBI spokesman Andrew Ames says the plane was waiting on the tarmac when a few passengers asked to use the restroom.

Ames says there was a language barrier and a decision was made to return to the gate.

Pinnacle spokesman Eric Epperson says all passengers were ordered off. Four passengers were questioned and rebooked on other flights.

The rest of the 70 passengers and four crew members were allowed back aboard and headed for Detroit after a nearly four-hour delay.
