Grand Re-Opening of Exton Plato's Closet

EXTON, Pa. - June 15, 2012

Tomorrow, June 16, 2012, the re-sale store that's very popular with teens, is having another Grand Opening -- in a new, larger location across the Whiteland Town Center shopping center from the old store at 213 West Lincoln Highway.

Owner Carol Topolski explains why she thinks the store is so popular, "I think it's because we carry all different brands. So, instead of going to the mall and going to different stores, you can just go to one store (and) find all the brands. We try to be really good about condition and keeping things that are current. And the prices are great."

Topolski and her daughter, who works at the store with her, put together a display for us, comparing current mall items to those on sale, gently used, at Plato's Closet.

Among the deals: men's plaid shirts from Ralph Lauren. They're $98 at the mall and $14 at Plato's Closet.

An embellished t-shirt, crocheted vest and flower pendant necklace that cost $92.80 at the mall, can replicated at Plato's Closet for just $14.

The very same Juicy Couture heart charm bracelet that costs $58 at the mall can be found gently used Plato's Closet for $12.

Also, True Religion jeans that cost $253 new, are available at Plato's Closet for $55, and American Eagle jeans are on sale for $15, instead of the $39.50 mall price.

And the list goes on and on.

Topolski says, "The prices here up to 70% off of what the prices are in the mall."

In addition, the store offers a frequent shopper card and will be offering additional deals during the Grand Opening celebration. For details, click here.
