1 arrest in Camden blaze that injured firefighter

Police in Camden have arrested one person following a 2-alarm fire that injured a firefighter.

43-year-old Madeline Hughes of Camden has been charged with criminal trespass.

Police say she was in the vacant home that caught fire just before 1:00 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of Chambers Avenue.

The blaze quickly went to two alarms as it spread to a neighboring home.

One house was gutted and another was damaged before crews got the upper hand.

One firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation.

Still no word what caused the fire.
