The incident happened at 8:35 p.m. on Friday May 11, 2012, on the 3200 block of Germantown Avenue. That's when the suspect approached the victim and began to punch and kick him repeatedly.
After the beating, the suspect took $120 in cash, a cell phone and wallet containing identification from the victim before fleeing the scene on foot east on the 1100 block of West Ray Street.
The suspect is described as a black male, heavy set, standing 5'10", weighing 280 pounds, wearing a white shirt, black leather vest, and black shorts.
