The collision happened around 11:10 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 27th Street and Allegheny Avenue.
According to investigators, a 25-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were seriously injured when their motorcycle collided with a car.
The male driver is hospitalized in stable condition with injuries to his hip. The female rear passenger is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
Police say they arrested the driver of the other vehicle nearby after that person attempted to flee the scene.
The identities of those involved have not been released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
