PHOTOS: Smoke from Camden, NJ brush fire seen for miles

The fire was first reported at 3:15 p.m. on Monday July 9, 2012 behind homes in the 300 block of Byron Street in Camden, N.J. Fire officials said a combination of brush and trash fueled the blaze. Smoke could be seen from as far away as the Schuylkill Expressway in Philadelphia.

A large brush fire in Camden, New Jersey produced a column of thick black smoke that could be seen for miles around.

The fire was first reported at 3:15 p.m. on Monday July 9, 2012 behind homes in the 300 block of Byron Street in Camden, N.J.
