2 suspects sought in 2 Dunkin' Donuts robberies

PHILADELPHIA - July 23, 2012

The first robbery occurred on July 10th at 4:20 a.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts located at 5401 North 5th Street.

Police say one of two unknown males jumped over the counter and took $300 in cash from the registers.

The second suspect attempted to access the safe in the office, but was unsuccessful.

Both suspects fled through the rear door on foot in an unknown direction.

Police say on July 13 at at 4:47 a.m., two unknown males entered the Dunkin' Donuts located at 5743 Wayne Avenue and approached the employee who was standing behind the counter with a crow bar demanding money.

One of the suspects took an unknown amount of cash from the registers.

The suspects then attempted to access the safe, but were unsuccessful. Both suspects fled on foot towards Rittenhouse Street.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 16-20 years-of-age, 5'10"-5'11", thin build, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt with #77 on back, gloves, white mask, jeans and carrying a metal crow bar.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 20 years-of-age, 6'0"-6'1", medium build, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, gloves, dark colored pants, and dark colored mask.
