Authorities say lightning is to blame for a house fire in North Wildwood, New Jersey.

It happened around 10:30 Saturday night on the 100 block of West 25th Street.

Crews were called after neighbors heard a loud crack during Saturday night's storms. Shortly after the crack, smoke was seen pouring from the neighbor's roof.

Arriving firefighters battled the flames - which were mostly contained to the third floor of the residence.

Additional crews from Wildwood and Stone Harbor were also called in for assistance.

The blaze was brought under control and no injuries were reported.

The homeowners were not home at the time of the fire.
