At approximately 4:30 p.m., the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a report of shots fired on the 500 block of North South Carolina Avenue near Carver Hall Apartments.
Upon arrival, police discovered the victim, identified as 25-year-old Sedrick Lindo, had been fatally shot.
He was reportedly shot while sitting on the porch of the apartment building.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit also responded to the scene.
No arrests have been made.
Atlantic City police are investigating.
