Occupy Delaware folds up tents

After nine months protesting economic injustice in Wilmington's Spencer Plaza, activists with the Occupy Delaware movement have folded up their tents.

The last protesters vacated the plaza Sunday afternoon. Under a settlement with the city, they had agreed to leave by Sept. 10, a week before the city starts a $1.2 million renovation of the plaza.

Protester Jennifer Wallace says nine months was a fitting amount of time to maintain the tent city. She says the group plans to continue its creative protests.

About 50 people attended the dismantling of the camp on Sunday.
