I-95 SB in Bensalem reopened after truck crash

A stretch of I-95 southbound in Bensalem, Bucks County has reopened after being closed for hours so workers could upright an overturned tractor-trailer.

I-95 was reopened shortly after 1:00 p.m.

The accident happened around 5:00 a.m. between Route 413 and Street Road.

Police tell Action News that the truck crossed over from the northbound lanes to the southbound lanes when it landed on its side. The driver was not injured and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Earlier, crews worked to transfer the tractor-trailer's load of watermelons to another truck before up righting the overturned rig.
