Woman wanted for 2 armed robberies in Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Del. - August 13, 2012

The first incident happened on August 10, around 2:10 a.m. at a Wawa Food Store on East Basin Road.

Police say the suspect confronted a 29-year-old employee armed with a gun and demanded money.

The employee turned over an unknown amount of money and the woman fled the store on foot.

The second incident happened about an hour later at the Valero Shore Stop on South Dupont Highway.

Police say the suspect approached a 24-year-old employee and demanded money.

The employee complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect quickly fled.

No one was injured in either incident.

The suspect is described as a black female, 25-35 years of age, 5'06"-5'09" tall, 125-150 pounds with an average build. She was last seen wearing a white jacket, black pants, baseball cap, and round black sunglasses.
