Man, woman charged with sex assault of 2 girls

Delaware State Police have arrested a man and a woman in connection with the sexual assault of two girls.

In custody are 35-year-old Tobias J. Cerillo of Blades, Delaware and Carrie L. Leager, 30, of Seaford.

The investigation began on July 26, 2012 when one of the victims, just 14-years-old, told family members that she had been sexually assaulted continuously over the course of six months while in the company of family friend Tobias Cerillo.

The investigation revealed that on one occasion, the 14-year-old and an 11-year-old female were allegedly given alcohol by Cerillo and Carrie Leager while at Cerillo's residence, located on the 200 block of East Sixth Street in Blades. According to investigators, the girls were then sexually assaulted and forced to perform sexual acts on the two adults.

Cerillo and Leager were arrested and charged with the following offenses:

Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child
Sexual Solicitation of a Child
Unlawful Sexual Contact with person under 13

Unlawful Sexual Contact 2nd (7 counts)
Endangering the Welfare of a Child (2 counts)
Indecent Exposure 1st
Lewdness (3 counts)
Providing Alcohol to Underage Person (2 counts)

Cerillo was arraigned and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $255,000 cash bail. Leager was also arraigned and was committed to Delores J. Baylor Women's Correctional Institution on $81,700 cash bail. The two have also been ordered to have no contact with the victims or anyone under the age of 18.
