Suspect sought in armed Subway shop robberies

Philadelphia police are looking for the man who robbed the same Subway sandwich shop twice in three days.

The robberies happened at the store at 1100 W. Girard Avenue in North Philadelphia.

The first robbery happened at 9:40 p.m. on Friday, August 10th while the second happened at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 12th.

Police released surveillance video of the crimes on Wednesday morning.

In both incidents, police say the man approached an employee demanding money from the cash register. Once he had the money, the man fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 35 and 40 years old, bald with a goatee.
