It happened shortly after midnight Saturday on the 700 block of Whitney Street.
Police were called for the report of a burglary and robbery.
A female victim told police that she arrived at her boyfriend's apartment and was confronted by four men wearing masks.
The suspects allegedly forced the woman into the apartment and restrained her and her boyfriend. Then the masked men demanded money and CDs that the boyfriend had in his apartment.
At some point one of the men reportedly struck the male victim with a gun.
All four suspects soon fled the scene and have not yet been identified.
