According to investigators, it was 12:00 p.m. last Thursday when surveillance cameras captured video of the suspect entering Angelo M Mattei Real Estate, located at 1616 South Broad Street.
Once inside, the man entered the office area, grabbed the purse, and fled the store running north on Broad Street.
The 87-year-old victim tells police that the purse contained various forms of identification and credit cards.
The suspect is described as a black male, 30 years-of-age, wearing a red shirt with gray stripes, long khaki shorts and a black backpack. Surveillance video from the store can be seen above.
