Johnson walked out of the Allegheny County Jail on Thursday night and into the arms of his family. He'd been behind bars since 1995 for a killing he's always insisted he didn't do.
A jury on Wednesday found Johnson not guilty in the 1994 killing of a woman police say he wanted to silence because she was a witness in a friend's shooting case. Johnson won a new trial after testimony by a woman who claimed to be an eyewitness was called into question.
Johnson says he's not bitter about his ordeal but the criminal justice system is "flawed." He says it never should have taken to long for him to clear his name.
