Suspect sought in armed Phila. 7-Eleven robbery

PHILADELPHIA - September 26, 2012

The robbery happened at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 16th at the store at 9901 Frankford Avenue.

In surveillance video released by police on Wednesday, the suspect is seen entering the store armed with a silver handgun.

The suspect orders an employee behind the counter and forces him to open the register.

The suspect then grabs and undetermined amount of money from the drawer and leaves.

Police say the man left in a 2004 or earlier model Chrysler 300 driven by an unknown accomplice.

The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build and a goatee. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black Adidas-type track pants.
