Tornado touches down in western Pa.

EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. (AP) - September 27, 2012

It occurred about 30 miles south of Pittsburgh, near Eighty Four, around 4 p.m. The Weather Service says minor damage has been reported.

There were reports of downed trees power lines in the area, and at least one person had to be rescued from his car when it got stuck in floodwaters in Baldwin.

In North Strabane Township, rescuers were called to help a driver whose car had been flipped on its side in high winds.

Fire Department Deputy Chief Josh Hofrichter says the driver felt the wind pick up his car and it landed on the driver's side.
