Suspects sought in armed phone store robbery

Philadelphia police are looking for two men who robbed a cell phone store.

The robbery happened at the Mobile Zone store at 114 West Girard Avenue in Northern Liberties at 4:00 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the suspects entered the store and threatened an employee with a gun.

The suspects then fled with $1,000 in cash toward the Septa El train, where they were captured on surveillance video.

The men are described by police as:

Suspect #1: Black male, 28-30 years-of-age, 5'10" to 6' tall, stocky build, dark complexion, facial hair, wearing a dark colored shirt, blue jeans, and a blue and red Cubs baseball cap.
Suspect #2: Black male, 28-30 years-of-age, 5'10" to 6' tall, stocky build, dark complexion, beard, wearing a red shirt with Royal Flesh with a picture of a woman on a dance pole, blue jeans, armed with a handgun.
