Man wearing hockey mask robs Newark, Del. bank

Police in Newark, Delaware are looking for the armed gunman who robbed a bank on Monday evening.

The robbery happened at 5:35 p.m. at the WSFS Bank in the Suburban Plaza Shopping Center.

Police say the suspect entered the bank wearing sunglasses over an old-style hockey mask and was armed with handgun.

He obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank on foot to a waiting vehicle.

The suspect is described as a male, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt. He was described as being between 5'10" and 6'01" tall with a thin build.

The getaway vehicle was described as a small white compact four door car with a white male driver.
