The accident occurred around 3:00 a.m. on US Route 30.
Officials say the driver of an SUV going eastbound lost control and smashed into the center median, showering concrete debris in the westbound lanes.
The concrete pieces shattered the windshield of one car and caused a second car to swerve off the road.
Two people were taken to the hospital and police say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
