It happened on October 9th on the 1700 block of Diamond Street.
Police say three men approached the male victim and took his cell phone from behind.
The victim chased the men to the area of 18th and French streets but never caught up to them.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 20-30-years-old, with a mustache. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
The second suspect is described as a black male, last seen wearing dark clothing.
A description for the third suspect has not been released.
