Fire damages row homes in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. - November 13, 2012

The fire broke out just before 1:15 a.m. on the 100 block of North Clayton Street.

Firefighters arrived to heavy smoke showing from the second floor.

The row houses had been converted into apartments.

Crews were able to get residents out safely and they rescued a dog from the burning building.

The fire was placed under control within an hour and investigators are trying to determine what sparked the fire.
