Suspected linen store bandit caught on camera in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - December 14, 2012

Police have issued an arrest warrant for 39-year-old Tony Robinson of the 4900 block of Warnock Street in Philadelphia.

Detectives believe he is the man shown on surveillance video robbing the Anna's Linens store in the 300 block of West Chelten Avenue.

It happened at 7:20 p.m. on December 1st.

The video shows a man walking into the store and buying some chair pads.

Police say after he paid for them, he showed the clerk a gun in his waistband and demanded money from the cash register. The clerk complied, and the man fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police have released the following description of the suspect, whom they believe is Tony Robinson:

Black male, 5'7"-5'9", 30-40 years-of-age, medium brown complexion, thin build, goatee with some graying, wearing a silver and green leather jacket with the Philadelphia Eagles logo on back, dark knit cap, gray sweat pants and black and white sneakers and armed with a handgun.
