Bensalem woman's death ruled accidental drowning

BENSALEM, Pa. - December 20, 2012

Crews found the body of 73-year-old Jean Carson onThursday morning a short distance from where investigators believe she fell in.

Police say Carson went to smoke a cigarette while at a party with friends and never came back.

Bucks County Coroner Joseph Campbell told an area newspaper on Friday that toxicology tests will take about a month to complete to determine whether alcohol was a factor in her death.

Police said Carson, a legal secretary, was attending a Christmas party that night.

According to friends, Carson was in good health and did not suffer from any medical or mental problems.
