Police activated a silver alert for 82-year-old Dominick Paparella on Saturday after he was last seen at the Parx Casino.
Authorities say Paparella couldn't find his vehicle and asked for help.
The person he spoke with didn't realize until later that it was the elderly man police were looking for.
Paparella was found driving on the New Jersey Turnpike and has since been reunited with his family.
