Judge: Mob jury could work Super Bowl Sunday

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - January 28, 2013

Jurors have been deliberating over four calendar weeks, although they've twice had to start over when alternates replaced original jurors.

The trial's been under way since October.

Federal prosecutors are trying to put away the reputed boss of the Philadelphia mob, Joseph "Uncle Joe" Ligambi, and six others in the racketeering case.

The jury has returned to court nearly every day to review portions of the FBI wiretaps made over the past decade.

U.S. District Judge Eduardo Robreno - perhaps nudging the panel along Monday - told jurors they could be working this weekend if they haven't reached a verdict.
