There's a new way to watch Action News, and you'll notice it throughout Philadelphia and the suburbs. It's something to look out for the next time you hail a cab!

When you hop into selected cabs in Philadelphia and the suburbs, you are now greeted by Taxi TV, courtesy of 6abc.

It's a small monitor which you can control while you are waiting to get to your destination. Action News Morning show meteorologist David Murphy gave Matt O'Donnell the latest AccuWeather forecast during a ride around 30th Street Station.

"It's pretty cool, a good idea," said Brian Conwell of Malvern, "kind of helps you pass the time while you're going through the city."

For extended trips, we also feature spots from Jimmy Kimmel and ABC News. Plus, you can control the player if you are looking for ESPN headlines, video on demand, or a map to get directions.

You will be seeing these in more and more taxis in the region. What's the best part about it? It's free with your fare, of course.
