Gulf gas station robber caught on camera in Collingswood, N.J.

COLLINGSWOOD, N.J. - February 19, 2013

It happened at 5:45 p.m. Friday at the Gulf gas station on Route 130 in Collingswood.

Prosecutors say the suspect pulled up in a Honda Odyssey minivan, got out, grabbed a gas station attendant and tried to rob him.

The attendant managed to get free unharmed.

A second employee who stepped in to help was stabbed in the hand.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The Honda Odyssey was recovered by police Sunday morning at Federal Street and Marlton Pike in Camden. Police have linked it to an earlier carjacking in Pennsylvania.

The suspect was captured by surveillance cameras moments before the robbery and assault.
