Suspect in murder of gas station clerk arrested

WILLINGBORO, N.J. – February 22, 2013

Zedrick Johnson, 34, of Willingboro, was arrested at 7:45 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of North 23rd Street in Camden.

The victim, 46-year-old Bal Krishna Karki, was shot and killed during a robbery at the Lukoil gas station at Route 130 north and Charleston Road back on February 11th.

Karki, 46, was an immigrant from Nepal who had been working at the station for five months, the Burlington County Prosecutor's office said.

Johnson is also the suspect in a number of other gas station robberies in the area.
