Only Action News was there as the two met face-to-face; a lifelong dream coming true as Brandy gave a local makeup artist her first big shot thanks to a connection made on social media.
Tatiana Ward from Port Richmond has a makeup channel on YouTube called "BeatFaceHoney." Her followers created a campaign to help Tatiana book her dream gig.
"They basically harassed her," Tatiana said, "'Let her do your makeup! Let her do your makeup!' It worked!!"
Only Action News was there Friday night as Tatiana did Brandy's makeup for her big show at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia!
"You do the kind of makeup that makes me want to stare at myself all evening," Brandy said, adding that she was blown away by Tatiana's talent and her personality and couldn't pass up a chance to give a Philly girl her big moment.
"I was like 'Oh my God! I am doing a show in Philly, will you do my makeup? Please!' I will be honored and her work is unbelievable." Brandy says Philadelphia is like her second home, especially since her fiancé - music executive Ryan Press - is from here!
"I never knew I was going to find my man in Philly but I did! AND I found my new makeup artist in Philly. O.K.!"
Tatiana posted this Instagram picture that night, the initial look of amazement still frozen on her elated face.
She also posted pics of her bags, packed for the next stop on their journey together: a second weekend show in York, Pa.
