Woman steals $16,000 worth of toothbrushes from Kohl's, police say

MIDDLETOWN TWP., Pa. - March 4, 2013

Police say 47-year old Beate Proeller of Annapolis, Maryland stole close to 200 high priced electronic toothbrushes from the Kohl's department stores in Middletown Township and Morton Borough.

According to authorities, Proeller created fraudulent price tags and placed them over the original price tags on the products.

The fake price tags would ring up at a value significantly less than the true retail value of the item she was purchasing.

A warrant has been issued for her arrest.

Proeller uses aliases of Beate Proller, Beate Kanamine and Beate Brandl.

Anyone knowing her whereabouts is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police at 484-840-1000.
