It happened along the 100 block of East Trenton Avenue in Morrisville around 10:00 p.m. Monday.
Police say someone opened fire behind Smokin' Joes Tobacco Shop.
Arriving officers found 23-year-old David Cox of Morrisville, Pennsylvania suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
So far police are not releasing any information pertaining to suspects or a motive. However, they do say the incident is not related to Smokin' Joes.
