The teen told police she was approached by a man while on Route 9 near Chanese Lane.
He was driving a BMW four door sedan and tried to grab the girl, but she refused and the two struggled until the man fled.
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male in his 30's, 5'4 to 5'6 tall, with a stocky build, short-cropped black hair and a mustache and goatee.
Authorities are working on a sketch of the suspect to release to the public.
