Police were called around 4:30 a.m. for the report of a shooting outside of Club Onyx on the 2300 block of South Columbus Boulevard.
Arriving officers found evidence of a shooting, but no victim.
It was soon discovered a 23-year-old male was brought to Temple University Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds to his jaw and back.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
No arrests have been made.
Police continue to investigate.
