One of the following:
*60 college credits with a GPA over 2.0
*OR two years of active duty military service
*OR one year of law enforcement experience
*OR completion of the Philadelphia Police Explorers Cadet program
*Three years of driving experience
*Willingness to work rotating shifts, carry firearms and work in dangerous conditions
Ability to pass:
*a pre-employment medical examination
*drug screening
*a psychological examination
*a polygraph examination
*an extensive background investigation
*a physical fitness test
